This year is set to be another action-packed year of events for all of the family. Celebrate Woking is supporting a range of events around the Borough.
West Byfleet LI:VE - Friday 25 & Saturday 26 July 2014
Free entrance and families are especially welcome. The West Byfleet LI:VE event is now organised by the West Byfleet Business Association (WBBA) and the community. The 2014 event serves as another legacy to the men’s and women’s Olympic Cycle Road Races whichwhizzed though West Byfleet in July 2012.
Friday evening from 4.30pm to 9.30pm will feature a fun fair.
Saturday from 12noon there will be a fun fair plus, story telling, fresh food stalls, a refreshment tent and wine tasting and live music all day and an open air cinema in the evening.
Live bands will perform between 12noon and 6pm.

Prudential RideLondon-Surrey – 10 August 2014
As part of the Prudential RideLondon two-day festival of cycling, two cycle events will whizz through the streets of Byfleet, West Byfleet and Pyrford on Sunday 10 August 2014.
Surrey’s biggest day of cycling will host two separate events: the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, which will see almost 30,000 amateur cyclists take on a challenge like no other, and the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic, featuring 150 of the world’s top professional cyclists.
Following some of the London 2012 Olympic Cycle Road Race route, the 100-mile challenge will start at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, travel through the closed roads of London and Surrey and finish on The Mall, in front of Buckingham Palace.

Celebrate Pyrford - Sunday 10 August 2014
Following the highly successful Celebrate Pyrford 2012 and 2013 events, this year’s event will take place on Sunday 10 August at Pyrford Cricket Field to coincide with the RideLondon-Surrey cycle event.
Organised by Pyrford Cricket Club in association with village groups, the event will be a fun family day out.
Come and cheer the cyclists on as they speed along Coldharbour Road, then relax and enjoy the refreshments and amusements on offer.
Entrance to the Celebrate Pyrford event is free and further details will be posted soon at www.celebratepyrford.moonfruit.com .
