Planning has started for this year’s Woking Beer Festival, held in the Woking Leisure Centre in Woking Park and organised by the Surrey/Hampshire Borders branch of CAMRA and Freedom Leisure who operate the Leisure Centre. The festival will follow the usual format of 3 sessions, Friday evening, Saturday lunchtime and Saturday evening. There will be over 70 Real Ales for customers to sample as well as Ciders and Foreign Beers. The Real Ales will be a selection from local breweries and some from further afield. Once again we will have the ever popular Len Rawle playing the fantastic Wurlitzer organ. The final sing along of each session will be relayed into the main hall using high quality audio ensuring that everyone can enjoy this unique event.
Tickets will go on sale from Woking Leisure Centre on Monday August 24 priced at £10 each, which includes a commemorative Festival pint glass and programme. There is a single booking fee for tickets posted out for telephone bookings. There is no booking fee for tickets collected in person. Woking Leisure Centre’s number is 01483 771122 for bookings.
