West Byfleet LI:VE - Saturday July 30 & Sunday July 31 2016
Free entrance and families are especially welcome. The West Byfleet LI:VE event is now organised by members of the West Byfleet Business Association (WBBA) and the community. The 2016 event serves as another legacy to the men’s and women’s Olympic Cycle Road Races which whizzed through West Byfleet in July 2012.
Saturday from 11am to 9pm - there will be a fun fair plus an array of craft and food stalls, a refreshment tent, live bands, much loved older cars and motor bikes, children’s entertainment. The streets of West Byfleet will be alive with "The Sound of Music" on the Big Screen beginning at 6:30pm on Saturday, 30 July.
Sunday from 11am to 5pm – there will be a fun fair plus food stalls PLUS a ring-side view of the amateur and professional cyclists taking part in the annual Prudential RIDE LONDON Cycle ride from about 10.am – 4.00pm PLUS live screening of the race as it takes part throughout the day on a big screen.
Admission both days is free but there will be a bucket collection for local charity.
