The sun is out - let's have fun in Woking during the summer holidays!

Footpaths are now easily accessible on both The Bedser Trail and H.G. Wells Heritage Trail!Horsell Common Sandpits

Whether you take the circular route off Monument Road, or the longer walk past the sandpits on Horsell Common, now the whole family can get out and about in the woods.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is celebrating 100 years with a free exhibition at Brookwood Cemetery until 19 November.

For young people of all ages, there's a whole week of activities at The Lightbox, from pirate crafts to cartoon artistry, and pony petting to balloon modelling.

The Lightbox will also be bringing some exhibits from a sculture exhibition right into the town centre, with some eerily life-like statues 'taking a stroll' around Woking from 12 August. Don't forget there is always a free exhibition on at The Lightbox.

Why not pop into The Living Planet Centre during August and help create a unique piece of community artwork, celebrating the UK's beautiful rivers?

On Woking's doorstep is RHS Garden Wisley, where this summer visitors can enjoy some Famous Five-themed garden adventures.

Woking Shopping hosts a number of special events for families during the holidays, including some Jurassic fun in August!

Join in with a sports activity at Woking Leisure Centre and Pool in the Park or you could buy a six-week pass for the whole family to enjoy!

You could become an 'enxplorer through time' at the Surrey History Centre.
