St Mary the Virgin Church
Visit St.Mary's, which has welcomed worshippers for 800 years. The church recently unearthed an 1871 census, showing how rural an area the church served in those times.
As usual, the tower will be open to those fit enough to climb the 64 stairs, who will be rewarded will an impressive view of the current development of Woking Town Centre plus the extensive surrounding countryside.
Event Details: Visitors can enjoy the view from the top of the tower (children must be over eight and accompanied by an adult). Period photographs, maps and other materials linked to the history of the church and area will be on show. There will also be a self-guided trail available. Home-made refreshments available all weekend in the adjacent St Andrew's Room.

Facilities: Limited parking available in the school playground opposite (on Saturday and Sunday).
