Non Stop Classic Hits For Woking's 2023 Fireworks Extravaganza
10 August 2023
Woking’s Fireworks Extravaganza is back with a bang! It will be held on Saturday 4th November 2023, and as in previous years it will take place in Woking Park.
Last year’s Extravaganza was the most successful ever, and this year we are planning to provide an all-round great night out for the people of Woking and its surrounding villages.
The theme is “Non Stop Classics”, and the whole display will be set to a soundtrack made up of the most famous classical tunes that everyone will recognise instantly. This is one display no one will want to miss!
Park gates will open at 5:30pm and the funfair will be open from then until 9:30pm. The display itself will start at the family-friendly time of 7:30pm. This year the food and drink offer will be expanded with a record number of stalls available to meet every taste.
Radio Woking’s star presenter Justin Coll returns for a second year on the mixing desk providing the entertainment on the night during the big build up to the display.
The event is arranged by Woking District Rotary for the entire community in Woking to enjoy, and all proceeds from the event will go to carefully selected causes and charities.
Club President David Clayfield said: “We are very aware of the pressures many people are under at the moment as they try to balance their household budgets. So we have decided to hold our ticket prices at last year’s cost so that our event is even better value for a family night out”.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance at discounted prices, and will also be available on the night, when contactless payment will be the preferred method of payment. Further information and tickets are available at www.wokingfireworks.org
