Preparing to party

Our top tips for ensuring you have a great day out in Woking Park.

Timings

The fun starts at midday and continues until 9pm. The park opens at 11.30am and you don't want to miss the offical opening parade at 12.15pm. The outdoor cinema experience starts at 6.30pm.

Weather

Please make sure you can have fun whatever the weather with the right clothes and outdoor gear.

Stay hydrated

We offer free water refills on site so remember to bring a water bottle.

Food and drink

You'll find a selection of delicious and reasonably priced food and drink in the Banstand and Main fields. Alternatively you can pack a picnic and provide your own drinks. For everyone's safety, we do not allow BBQs and we are trying to minimise the use of glass on site.

Bring cash

Entry is free but we defy you not to be tempted by our Food Village, and there is a charge for some activities. Nearest ATMs

  • Sainsbury’s Local, Kingfield Road, GU22 9EJ
  • Tesco Express, Guildford Road, GU22 7PX

Dogs

Friendly dogs on leads are welcome but please plan for their needs too.

Be social

It’s a party – sing, dance, be merry and make sure you share your photos with us! Search for Celebrate Woking on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, or just use #celebratewoking.
