British All Winners Festival of Plays

Showcasing the very best of amateur theatre, the 42nd British All Winners Festival will this year be held at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, Woking, in association with Ambassadors Theatre Group, Woking Drama Association and Woking Borough Council.

Representing the very best of British amateur drama, the National Drama Festivals Association (NDFA) festival is the finale of a series of regional festivals held up and down the country over the past year

Each year, the British All Winners Festival showcases the very best of British amateur theatre in a week-long celebration of theatre. Drama Groups which have won Full Length or One Act Member Festivals during the preceding 12 months are eligible for invitation by the National Drama Festivals Association (NDFA) to take part.

This includes the winner of the Woking Drama Festival. In recent times the winners of the Woking Festival have gone on to win this British one act festival, an achievement that WDA is immensely proud of and a good testimony to the strength and calibre of amateur drama in the Woking area.

From Sunday 19 - Saturday 25 July the week-long festival will feature full-length and short, one act plays within a competition environment. At the end of each evening, the performances will be judged by a member of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators and winner chosen. During the week, a number of awards up for grabs and on the last night of the festival they will be presented to the winning groups.

There will also be a performance of the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, this year performed by Woking-based organisation Linkable.
