Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum (SMEF) supports and represents the needs and aspirations of a growing ethnic minority population in Surrey.

We provide support for over 50 grassroot community groups, build relationships between faith groups, and run projects to help black and minoritized ethnic people across the county to feel a part of their community, improve their wellbeing and learn new skills for work and life.

Find out what Surrey means to our communities. We’re celebrating Surrey Day on Tuesday 9 May at Eastwood Leisure Centre in Sheerwater with a fun event showcasing displays of drawings, word art and objects which reflect what Surrey means to our communities plus a display of hand embroidered and upcycled clothing made by women from our Liaise project.

As part of the celebrations, some of our member groups will be entertaining us with world music and there will also be food and refreshments.

Entry is FREE!
