Wine is best served with friends, which is even better if they’re edible acquaintances such as cheese, olives, cured meats and breads! Making a splash at this year’s festival will be the new Cellar Wines and Deli Zone, located in Gloucester Square.

Running across all three days, visitors can browse, graze and stock up at the large selection of stalls featuring award-winning Surrey and English vineyards and artisan deli producers and suppliers.

Visitors also have the opportunity to drop-in to the free, short ‘meet the producer’ and ‘expert’ sessions in the Ambassador’s Members’ Lounge, Gloucester Square.

Confirmed producers and experts include Albury Vineyard from Shere, Greyfriars Vineyard from Puttenham, High Clandon Vineyard from High Clandon, Denbies Wine Estate from Dorking, Cellar Wines from Ripley, and Great British Wine website.

Adding some extra flavour to this new zone, will be live music and bread-making demonstrations and Q&As, courtesy of Woking-based Bake with Jack owner, Jack Sturgess.

On Saturday and Sunday, Jack will share his top tips for perfecting the best dough, including kneading it properly, resting it well, and shaping it so it rises to be tall and proud. He will also cover the classic mistakes, how to avoid them, and how to bake the perfect loaf every time.
